The Society is registered under the Cooperative Societies Act, 1925 since 6th February, 1985 vide Registration No.279. The objects of the society are to promote the economic and social interest of its members on the principles of cooperation, self-help, on no profit no loss basis, and more particularly, to establish and maintain a residential colony for its members and to arrange or otherwise acquire land, houses, buildings or other property for the purpose of carrying out the objects of the Society. Its area of operation is restricted to Capital Territory of Islamabad.

The total Land purchased for E-11 project was 443 Kanal and 15.5 Marlas, and 349 Kanal for O-9 Phase. A total of 333 houses have been built and occupied in E-11 and 251 in O-9.

The Mosques of both phases E-11 and O-9 are completed.

The Society has built up its own plaza in E-11 namely "Federation Centre" which is completed and is using as Society's office.

I am pleased at the launching of the website of FECHS. It will help us to stay in touch with our members regarding various developments in the Society. The information will be updated from time to time and our members are encouraged to keep posting their proposals/comments.
